| Dr. Winesett’s practice is limited to the
evaluation of intractable epilepsy for advanced procedures such as
epilepsy surgery, vagal nerve stimulators, ketogenic diet, complex
medication management and clinical trials. After a residency in
pediatric/internal medicine at the University of South Florida, he
completed his pediatric neurology fellowship at Vanderbilt University.
In addition, he completed a pediatric epilepsy fellowship at the
Cleveland Clinical and USF.
Dr. Winesett is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at USF. Dr. Winesett has written multiple academic chapters on pediatric and adult epilepsy. Board certifications: American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology,
with special competence in pediatric neurology; American Board of
Pediatrics, American Board of Internal Medicine.
